Search guidance

You can search for documents in the Analyze phase, in Inspect, or in the Review phase. The purpose of the search determines the criteria you enter or select. Use Search Builder to define search conditions through a progressive series of selections. Search Builder enables you to add criteria and logical groupings.

If you need to include searches that use additional parameters (for example, proximity searches within a number of characters), you can also enter a search manually in the Search box. Use the following topics for more in-depth information about defining Epiq Discovery searches.
